V6 is also available with a 6-speed manual. 2.7-liter I4, still with 159 horsepower and fuel economy of 19 mpg city / 23 highway, bringing more. Most Tacomas 4 cylinder will come with a 6-speed automatic, but the 5-speed manual is also available.
Plus tweaks to the suspension changes make the 2016 Tacoma frame feels more planted and more stable on the road. Handling feel better, and a comfortable ride and fit. Brakes, discs are still at the front and drums at the rear, using an all-new braking system which has to feel confident and linear. The interior is much quieter than in previous Tacoma, courtesy of a new acoustic windshield and the use of more lethal voice. The only downside is that the loss of cabin noise interference makes it easier to see the sound of tires on the road is bad. Tacoma has a fresh interior: there are high-quality materials throughout, new gauges and multi-information display, and multiple colors and new materials options including mesh inserts available red weather at the door and dash on the SR5. However, if you choose to SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Pro or Limited, you will not get a seat of power. New convenience features set it apart from other medium trucks. Tacoma maintain hidden storage behind the seats: in the Double Cab, you can fold down the rear seat cushions forward, exposing the storage area. If you want a flat load space, pull seatbacks down and you can transport large equipment there. Toyota Tacoma has made more capable and easier to use. The tailgate is locked damped, thus opening quietly and easily. A lockable cover three-piece hard tonneau newly available. Clients still have the option bed 5- or 6-foot, but the bed is now deeper, so it can accommodate more cargo. Both towing and payload capacity is higher, the former now £ 6,800 up from 6,500, while the second is £ 1,620, up from 1,500.

When it comes to cross-shopping the three newest members of the medium truck segment, buyers will find each have different priorities. Colorado and Canyon have an interior that is more like a small SUV or crossover. They can tow a little more; have better fuel economy and more horsepower I4 and V6. But Tacoma offers fantastic resale value, the tried-and-true reliability, good off-road prowess, payload capacity and better comfort and safety features that are not available in the Canyon and Colorado. When it goes on sale in September, the pricing for the 2016 Tacoma will start around $ 24,000 to SR, and 4WD Double Cab V6 will start at around $ 38,000. People love when the Tacoma will be happy with what Toyota has to offer.
